First, I will try to explain the Persian name Badangah as a meaningless word that I made up myself, but if l wanna translate it to English, just word by word, I can say it combines the words look and body. For me, this word defines a place for the body. Still, this word, in translation and appearance, can also have different meanings, and I would like the audience to interpret the name for themselves based on their perspective.

This collection started in 2019 with my interest in texture, shape, and colors of bruises and stretch marks on the body, as well as different body forms in terms of skin color and shape, so I started photographing two types of body shapes. And draw more attention to the body’s shape, the colors, and figures of bruises and wounds instead of labeling the body types. bruises and stretch marks, caused mainly by external pressure, as a message of the body’s reaction to forces that will remain on this body for a long time.
