The total time of performance is 25 minutes.
I chose the final 7 minutes for you, which is the climax between the couple dividing a fish tank, In which the relationship of human beings to each other, as well as their relationship to objects, is performed. A man and a woman are separating from each other and want to divide the rest of the pieces of equipment in the last meeting. It does not matter how hard they want to separate everything.
The more they try, the more inseparable things become.
This practice started in 2018 with my main question about how Stories can take shape suddenly by objects, which play a vital role in making the whole structure of a performance. In this presentation, objects and the surrounding environment are as important as people in advancing the story; Storie emerges from relationships and is influenced by surrounding objects to create a new abstract world.
I extracted the objects in Bradbury’s short story to create A space for performing the relationship between objects and humans. In the original version of the story, the man and woman divide all of their shared books, while the main object in my performance is a fish tank as an indivisible object.
