It is still working on it in progress I started this work in May 2023. I presented it in March 2024 at Das Theatre as my graduation work. And later in May 2025, at Beyond the black box Antwerp
Touchscape is a transformative installation, comprised of unrecognizable, transformed materials and objects that elicit uncanny feelings. Guided by a host, participants are blindfolded and led through a tactile journey, following a rope to explore various textures and provocative situations. The encounter culminates with the audience engaging with my hands, allowing them to decide the duration and interaction. The touchscape dramaturgy invites participants to explore different parts of their body, confronting and fostering a sensorial journey that challenges boundaries. Duration: it depends on each individual but 45 to 1 hour.
I have been trying to create space for self-reflection for each audience to go to the jury in themself and confront their sensations and feelings.
My wish has been always to go further in the realm of words because, in my personal life, I find it more strong and more relative when I am trying to express myself in other formats than words.
In this work, I continued with my practice to focus on the liminality of objects and materials also evoking feelings.
